Zamfara State House of Assembly has passed into law the State and Local Government Contributory Pension Scheme Commission. The passage of the bill followed the presentation of the report of the proposed bill by the chairman standing House Committee on Public Service, Mr Anas Sarkin Fada and subsequent laying of the report before the House with the mace as required by law.

Shortly after the the presentation, the Speaker of the House, Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya allowed contributions and observations from the members on the bill before passing the bill into law.

Magarya after passing the bill into law specifically thanked the chairman and members of the House Committee on Public Service headed by Anas Sarkin fada for a good job and urged other Committees to emulate him.
