By Ngozi Onyeakusi—– NEM Insurance Plc, a major player in Nigeria’s insurance sector has announced the appointment of Mr. Idowu Semowo as its new Chief Financial Officer.

In a notice at the Nigerian Exchange Limited, the appointment is said to be with effect from February 1st, 2021.

About Semowo

He is a fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria [ACS].

His illustrious career spans over a period of thirty years in the financial industry encompassing experiences in auditing, banking, and stock broking having worked with Universal Trust Bank, Magnum, MBC International Bank Limited and Kinley Securities Limited. He has served in pivotal roles in the financial growth of NEM Insurance Plc over the years.
