By Ngozi Onyeakusi– The headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) in Abuja was today gutted by fire.

The fire which started around 11am, consumed a substantial part of the building.

Mostly affected is the Election and Party Monitoring Department (EPM), which was completely razed.
But INEC National Commissioner and Chairman Voters’ Education and Information, Festus Okoye, said no critical document was lost to the inferno.
SUPERNEWS Online recalled that on two days ago the Headquarters of Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Maitama, Abuja, was gutted by fire.

This came exactly one week after Treasury House, headquarters of Accountant General of the Federation (OAFF) was similarly consumed by fire.
