The Group Managing Director of CMC Connect (Perception Managers), and the President, African Public Relations Association, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, has congratulated Franklyn Ginger-Eke, the Executive Director/COO of Nigeria’s first full-service public affairs consultancy firm Re-ignite Public Affairs, on his induction as a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the body that regulates the practice of Public Relations in Nigeria.

Ginger-Eke, the pioneer Head of Stakeholder Management & Corporate Communication at Galaxy Backbone Ltd, was inducted by the Institute’s President, Mallam Mukthar Sirajo, at a very colourful and well-attended NIPR 2022 Annual General Meeting and Summit held recently at the International Conference Centre, Abuja.

The Governing Council of the Institute, at a meeting chaired by the NIPR President on Monday, 22nd August 2022, approved the recommendations of the Fellowship Committee for the induction of Fellows-designate who successfully scaled through the rigorous selection process of the NIPR Fellowship.

Franklyn Ginger-Eke, a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, (CIPR) in the UK, and an associate member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), is a two-time Chairman of the Annual Conference/AGM Planning Committees of the NIPR FCT Chapter for 2018 and 2019. Recently, he was appointed to the National Summit Planning Committee by the NIPR President.

He is a graduate of Abia State University, Uturu, and also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and an MBA in Advertising and Public Relations from ESUT Business School, Enugu.

Franklyn Ginger-Eke, one of the 61 new NIPR fellows, was inducted alongside other PR professionals, eminent women and men across the public and private sectors, university dons, and members of the security forces, including Frank Mba, Commissioner of Police and former spokesman of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), Mrs. Faithful A. Hope-Ivbaze, Acting General Manager, Corporate Affairs Department, Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), and Temitope Oguntokun, Director, Corporate Affairs and Legal Services, International Breweries Plc, amongst many others.

He is happily married with children.
