Lady Isioma Chukwuma

of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), Lady Isioma Chukwuma has stated that the numerous challenges presently rocking the nations financial sector could turn  into opportunities if properly managed.
Chukwuma made the submission at the 2023 Business Outlook conference in Lagos.
“It is no doubt that the financial sector of the country is faced with different challenges which has great impact on the GDP but if properly managed, it could be turned to great opportunities.
Chukwuma noted that the event was  a veritable platform for reviewing the performance of the previous business year and focusing on the challenges and opportunities of the current.
She  stated that this  year, theme: Reshaping the Financial Sector: Emergent Challenges and Opportunities was apt.even as she opined that the deliberations  which would be largely interactive should help restructure the financial sector for sustainable growth.  The insurance industry and other financial sector of the National Economy are termed the bedrocks of all businesses and ventures.
The Year 2023 Business Outlook would be addressing the following:
·        Reshaping the Financial Sector
·        Restructuring the insurance industry and other financial sector
·        Analysis the National budget as it relates to the financial sector.
·        Reviewing the performance of the insurance industry
·        Recommendation on the way forward.
She re-emphasing the need for involvement of all key players in the sector to ensure the industry as well as the economy at large remain focus in tackling the emergent challenges therefore proffering required solutions.
