NAICOM returns Glanvill Enthoven’s licence
The National Insurance Commission has reinstated the operational licence of Glanvill Enthoven, a firm of incorporated insurance brokers.
The statement said the company had been a member of Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers with a good reputation for high level professionalism.
It added that it maintained a professional indemnity cost of N750m and owned by the five states in the South-West, including Lagos State (Odua Investment Company Limited).
“Established in 1957, over the years, it has become a leader in the provision of highly efficient and innovative insurance broking and related services through a well-motivated and proactive professional workforce while satisfying the aspirations of stakeholders,” it stated.
The firm noted that its Managing Director, Supo Falana, brought his 25 years of professional experience in top-class rated insurance institutions including Goldlink Insurance Plc and Law Union & Rock Insurance where he was the chief technical and business officer.
Falana is a proactive seasoned insurance executive versed in delivering appropriate technical operations, marketing solutions aligned with corporate strategy and business goals, according to the statement.
He obtained the Higher National Diploma in Insurance with distinction from the Lagos State Polytechnic and Master in Business Administration from the University of Ado Ekiti.
A fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, Falana had attended several insurance trainings, seminars and conferences both locally and internationally, the statement added.
