Consolidated Hallmark Holdings (CHH) Plc has taken its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) train to schools in Lagos and Abuja to commemorate this year’s International Women’s Day (IWD).

The outreach, themed “Give To Gain,” was held at the Baptist Senior High School, Lagos, and the Sisters of the Redeemer School, Ketti Village, FCT, Abuja. The initiative aimed to inspire young girls to recognize their potential and pursue their career aspirations with determination.

A statement by the Head, Brand & Communications, CHH Plc, Ajibola Liyide, said the group noted that the event blended mentorship with interactive learning.

Addressing the students in Lagos, the Managing Director/CEO, Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Limited, Mary Adeyanju, urged the girls to view themselves as future captains of industry.

“I look beyond the classroom and see a generation of future leaders, doctors, engineers, and innovators. The next chapter of women’s leadership will be written by girls like you,” Adeyanju stated.

Adding her voice to the session, the Group Head of Underwriting, Consolidated Hallmark Insurance, Ejiro Efekoha-Momoh, shared her career journey, encouraging the students to remain confident despite the challenges of the girl-child in the modern world.

Support and Donations
The highlight of the Lagos event was the presentation of a ₦50,000 cash gift to the Head Girl, Ogundepo Sofiat Ayomide, in recognition of her academic excellence and leadership.

In the Federal Capital Territory, the CHH team, led by the Marketing Head, Wuse, Tejiri Aghware, engaged students at the Redeemer School on the importance of education. The group supported the students’ academic journey with donations of:

Exercise books and textbooks.

Financial assistance to cover tuition fees for selected students.

Nana Firdausi, a Marketer with the Group, emphasized that the visit was about more than just material donations. “It is about reminding these young girls that education can open doors to possibilities they may not yet imagine,” she said.
