Insurance Industry’s Total Assets  Hits N2.1 trillion

By Ngozi Onyeakusi—The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has disclosed that the the insurance industry’s total assets  recorded N2.1 trillion.
According to the sectors 2021  unaudited performance made available by  Mr Rasaaq Salami, Head, Corporate Communications and Market Development, NAICOM to SUPERNEWS in Lagos, the sectors Gross premium income  grew to   N630.3 billion  compared  to N514 billion recorded in the comparative period of 2020 while net claims paid within the period stood at N238 billion.
